For the first ‘time popular heroine Joya Ahsan along with popular hero Ferdous are going to attend a film festival in Singapore’. They will ‘leave Dhaka todays morning’.
They will ‘attend Darpan Film Festival which is scheduled to be held in Singapore’. This festival is ‘organised by the Indian organiser Darpan’.
To promote ‘Bengali movies across the world this film festival is being arranged in Singapore’. In this four ‘day long festival Ferdous acted two movies Ontordhan and Porichoy and Joya Ahsan acted movie Aborto will be screened’. Festival ‘began yesterday evening’.
Before leaving ‘Bangladesh Joya Ahsan told this correspondent from the airport I am feeling well that I along with Ferdous bhai are going to attend an international film festival together outside the country’. We worked ‘together in movie Guerilla’. When that ‘movie was screened in different countries we couldnt attend together’. But I am really ‘enjoying attending Darpan Film Festival along with him’. After returning ‘from Singapore on September 7 I will stay in Dhaka for one day and then will go to Delhi’. Later returning ‘from Delhi I will take part in shooting of a new movie’.
It is really ‘praiseworthy that Darpan has taken initiative to promote Bengal movies across the world’. I am proud of ‘going there to attend the film festival along with Joya said Ferdous’.
Joya Ahsan also ‘informed that from Kolkata Proshenjit’, Rituporna, Mrinal Sen, Swastika ‘Mukherjee among others are also attending this festival’.
Besides screening ‘Kolkata and Dhakas movies film related workshop and view exchange meeting are also included in the programme schedule of this film festival she said’.
